PFC Corofil C25 Cable Firestop has been developed to effectively seal cable bunches in electrical trunking and cable trays where they pass through fire rated walls and floors. Tested to BS476 Part 20, C25 Cable Firestop will provide up to 4 hours' fire protection.

Description
PFC Corofil C25 Cable Firestop is a compressible fire retardant foam which is laminated both sides with a graphite based intumescent polymer. C25 Cable Firestop is supplied in sections measuring 60mm wide x 25mm thick x 1m long.
The product is cut along it's length to suit the width of the cable tray or electrical trunking to be firestopped. For example, with 100mm x 50mm electrical trunking the product would be cut into sections of 100mm long.
C25 Cable Firestop is then laid on top of the cable runs orientating the product so that the 60mm width lies across the width of a wall or the depth of the floor slab.
C25 Cable Firestop is then layered to fill the complete depth of the electric trunking or the cable tray. Ensure electrical trunking lids are fixed back after installing the product.
