Installation Instructions

PFC Corofil C25 Cable Firestop will give up to 4 hours fire rating with cable bunches, electrical trunking and cable trys where they pass through compartment walls and floors

  1. Remove all loose debris from around the tray.
  2. Cut PFC Corofil C25 Cable Firestop along it's length to fill the width of tray to be filled.
  3. Compress PFC Corofil C25 Cable Firestop immediately under (if neccessary) and on top of cable runs.
  4. Add further layers of C25 Cable Firestop untill tray is full.
  5. Make good around cable tray with PFC Coated Panel or Firestop Compond.

Installation in electrical Trunking.

  1. Unscrew lid of trunking.
  2. Cut length to fill the width of the trunking to be filled.
  3. Compress PFC Corofil C25 Cable Firestop into the bottom of the trunking.
  4. Lay Cable runs over the C25 Cable Firestop
  5. Add further layers of C25 Cable Firestop untill the trunking is filled
  6. Replace lid of trunking

PFC Corofil C25 Cable Firestop is manufactured from two layers of intumescent compound with a core of high density mineral fibre sealed in polythene. Dust or fibre generated from handling or cutting, if inhaled over a prolonged period, constitutes a health hazards.
   
Eye Contact

Eye Contact

The product, when cut, may cause irritation or inflammation. Goggles should be worn where there is a risk of dust or fibres entering the eyes. If dust or fibres enter the eye - hold the eyelids apart and irrigate with clean fresh water for five minutes.
   

Skin Contact

The product may cause irritation to sensitive skins. Protective overalls and gloves should be worn to minimise exposure.
Inhalation

Inhalation

Inhalation may cause irritation. Ensure adequate ventilation when cutting, and wear a dust mask complying with BS2091 or BS6016.
Disposal

Disposal

Remove waste debris and place in strong plastic bags.
